For some dumb reason, I decided last year that since I had gone to Spring Training the previous five years, it was "been there, done that" and I didn't need to go.
I missed it. BIG TIME.
Three things mean spring to me: the daffodils popping up along the highways in St. Louis, the green pollen dust all over everything and Spring Training in Florida. I learned from that mistake of 2010 and I'm back in Florida driving all over the sunshine state enjoying baseball and getting sunburned. God bless America.
