It almost seems sacrilegious that Part I is not dedicated to the classic Cardinals uniforms, but I would think that to be cliche. Therefore, I'll start my Most Favorite Uniforms post with the Seattle franchises.
Seattle Pilots (1969)
64-98, Finished 6th in AL Western Division
Seattle Mariners (1977-2008)
2159-1739, 4 playoff appearances (7 1st or 2nd place finishes)
Seattle Pilots (1969)
64-98, Finished 6th in AL Western Division

2159-1739, 4 playoff appearances (7 1st or 2nd place finishes)
Both incarnations of Seattle MLB teams have pretty much sucked tootsie pops. The fact that the Pilots only lasted one season seems to lend credence to that point. Either way, these teams have worn two of my favorite uniforms of all time. I've always thought that the Pilots logo was super sweet
and as for the the 1984 Mariners, I'm a child of the 80's, what can I say?
Check out Jim Bouton's "Ball Four" to read about his season with the Pilots. It's pretty cool.
