Today's Game: Cards vs. Red Sox

I drove 2 hours from Brandon to Ft. Myers today for the Cards/Red Sox game. My rental car only has 3,800 miles on it, but it drove worse than my 1975 Monte Carlo with the fire hole in the passenger side floorboard. There was an "under inflated tire" warning light illuminated, which I promptly ignored. A) This piece has less than 4,000 miles on it. How under inflated can they be? B) I'm not stopping to pay for air for the under inflated tires of a rental car.

Long story short...I lived.

Here's a taste of my photographic prowess.

Happy First Day of Spring Training!

Today marks the first day of Spring Training. Thank the Lord, because it's been a long baseball-deficient winter.

One pseudo bright spot is the fact that Charter added MLBHD to our channel lineup. However, the joy, like the service, has been intermittent and short lived. On one of our TVs, the signal comes in, but it's infused with dropped sound, digital pixelation and incorrect program information. For instance, today there was supposed to be a 1967 Cards-Red Sox World Series recap show on, but it was the 1966 Dodgers-Orioles series. Similar, but different. This, however, is a major step above our other TV where MLBHD doesn't come in at all.

Thanks Charter. I'm shocked you've declared bankruptcy, what with your super awesome attention to detail and customer service. You really should be the model of corporate supremacy...maybe above the Arctic Circle or on "Lost" Island.

But I digress...

SPRING TRAINING STARTS TODAY AND I HEAD TO FLORIDA ON MARCH 26! THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS!
