No driving or forgetfulness today. So we're very thankful for that.
We took the 1 train down to Battery Park for our 11 a.m. ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Other than people being stupid and not removing jewelry, etc., before getting into the security lines. Thanks for slowing everyone else down, jerkfaces. Once we got past the moronic human obstacles, we boarded the Miss Ellis Island and headed out on the water to Lady Liberty and Ellis Island.
Really? Is this necessary?
Not much fodder for Papa Thomas today, but just wait until tomorrow. We're hoping that our passports arrive early because then we have, at minimum, a four-hour drive to Cooperstown for a whirlwind tour of the Hall of Fame and then five more hours to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada after that. We're hoping to make it there by 9 p.m. What say you, Papa Thomas? Is that possible? Let us know. I don't know if I even believe it can be done.
That's all for now. It's two hours until Harry Connick, Jr. at the Neil Simon Theatre so I'm out like a light bulb.

On that trip to Cooperstown and then to the falls. All I can say is leave earlier than you want to, make sure all the bathroom chores are taken care of, hope the car doesn't hiccup, and take plenty of snacks so you don't stop to eat. Even then it's gonna be close. Then you just might make it.
