The Village People (and later, The Pet Shop Boys) once said, "Go West." It shall be done!The plane tickets are booked and we're heading to Denver, Colorado on July 21st for our 5th Annual Baseball Road Trip and up to 4,500 road trip miles logged. Notice that we're flying to Denver to avoid the eight hour hell that is Kansas.
Here's a look at the tentative trip plans. The bold destinations are where we plan to visit, the rest are possibilities. Julia's mom and brother may join us for a few days, but they may not. Therefore, we have two plans - "With Simpsons" and "Without Simpsons." Besides baseball, we're going to several National Parks, a Ballpark Museum and the land of Napoleon Dynamite in Preston, Idaho. Take a look and please give us any feedback of places or sights we might be missing along the way.

If you are going to Mt. Rushmore you have to drive through the Black Hills National Forest and camp in the Badlands for a night. It is sweet.
I have nothing to add, except that, as usual, julia is a very patient woman.
